Lighting
The importance of lighting is inevitable and most important for any cinematic project. Thus we studied different types of lighting and there uses,coupled with the affect they creat.
This includes;
1.Ramberant lighting
2.key light/Main light: Mainly lits the subject
3.Fill light: less in intensity than in key light.
4. Back light: used to distinguish between subject and background.
5.Rim light: Whenever a light forms a ring around the subject,creates silhouettes too.
6.Kicker light: when light is placed 180° opposite the subject.
EXPOSURE
In photography, exposure is the amount of light which reaches your camera sensor or film. It is a crucial part of how bright or dark your pictures appear.
There are three elements of exposures. Often referred to as The Exposure Triangle – 3 elements have an impact upon exposure.
1) ISO; ISO refers to the sensitivity—the signal gain—of the camera's sensor
2) Aperture ;Aperture refers to the opening of the lens’ diaphragm, it is part of the exposure triangle and is measured in F-stops. A wide aperture (F2.8) lets more light through the lens then a narrower aperture (F16).
3) Shutter Speed ; shutter speed is the length of time that the film or digital sensor inside the camera is exposed to light (that is, when the camera's shutter is open) when taking a photograph.
